You are the sole owner of your data. My Tennis Journey uses your session entries, goals, and reflections to generate AI-powered insights — but these insights are created anonymously and only you can access them. We never see, read, or share your personal content.
We built My Tennis Journey for recreational tennis players who want a private, personal space to plan sessions with goals, reflect on their progress, and gain AI-powered insights to understand their game better. Your privacy is fundamental to how the app works.
You Own Your Data
You own 100% of your data — always. Everything you enter into My Tennis Journey belongs solely to you. This includes your session journal entries, goals, reflections, ratings, and any other content you create.
Your data is never sold, shared, or made accessible to anyone other than you. Not to us, not to third parties, not to anyone.
Your data is:
- Stored on your device and in your personal cloud storage
- Accessible only by you
- Never sold to or shared with third parties
- Completely under your control — you can delete it at any time
How AI-Powered Insights Work
My Tennis Journey uses AI to generate personalized insights, goal suggestions, and weekly summaries based on your session data. Here is how this works and why your privacy is protected:
- Your data is processed anonymously. When insights are generated, your journal entries and reflections are sent to AI services without any personally identifiable information attached. There is no name, email, account ID, or any other identifier linked to the data.
- Only you see your insights. The AI-generated insights, goal suggestions, and weekly summaries are returned directly to your app and are visible only to you.
- No profile is built about you. The AI does not retain your data between sessions or build a profile of you over time. Each request is independent and anonymous.
- We cannot read your content. We have no access to the journal entries, reflections, or goals you write, nor to the insights generated for you.
What We Don't Collect
We do not collect or have access to:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Your location data
- Your session journal entries, goals, or reflections
- Your AI-generated insights or weekly summaries
- Any content you create in the app
Anonymous Analytics & Crash Reporting
To improve the app and fix issues, we may use anonymous analytics and crash reporting services. This helps us:
- Identify and fix bugs and crashes
- Understand which features are most used
- Improve app performance and stability
- Make better decisions about future features
Important: This data is completely anonymous and cannot be linked back to you. It includes only:
- General app usage patterns (e.g., which screens are visited)
- Crash logs and error reports
- Device type and operating system version
- App version information
This anonymous analytics data never includes your journal entries, goals, reflections, insights, or any personal content.
No Advertising or Tracking
We do not use any advertising networks or invasive tracking tools. There are:
- No ads in the app
- No advertising identifiers collected
- No social media tracking pixels
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties
Data Storage
Your data is stored on your device and may be synced via your personal iCloud account if you have iCloud enabled. This means:
- Your data is protected by your device's security features (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode)
- Only you can access your tennis journey
- iCloud sync is managed entirely by Apple and your personal settings — we have no access to it
- Deleting the app removes all data from your device
Third-Party Services
My Tennis Journey uses third-party AI services to generate your personalized insights, goal suggestions, and weekly summaries. When your data is sent to these services:
- No personally identifiable information is included
- The data is processed anonymously
- The AI service providers do not retain your data
- The generated insights are returned only to your device
When you download My Tennis Journey from the App Store, Apple may collect certain information as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This is handled entirely by Apple, and we do not receive any personal information about you from Apple.
Children's Privacy
My Tennis Journey does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Our commitment to your data ownership and privacy will not change.
